Alan Michaelis Awarded Berta Lull Honorary Service Award!

Alan was totally surprised when awarded the debut Berta Lull Honorary Service Award at the National Living Legends of Dance weekend event on November 9, 2024.  The criteria for the award recognizes one’s contribution to dance, their dedication and service to the dance community, their performance in what they do for the dance community, their passion and love of dance, and the time and service they give to the dance community.  The award was presented by Cindy Black, President of the National Living Legends of  Dance.  Alan was in the process of filming the induction ceremony when Cindy made the introductory remarks for the award and heard his name.  You can see the pause in the video as he realized it was him!  Check it out here.
